Socialite Extrodinaire…
So, yesterday was my last day of lectures, ever (cue: Alice Cooper). The day was interesting, primarily involved an extended drinking session which spanned 5 venues. The only one I’ve never visited before being aka, which has a nice food menu (at a very reasonable price) and Erdinger at the best rate I’ve ever found it in Ireland (€4 a pint). Overall, the session was fun, especially since I was never a fan of going out with my college class.
Today was supposed to be a “let’s tidy and clear my desk” kind of day. Instead it was a “I don’t feel like being energetic” day. This evening, I finally met up with my best friend for pints in our local (for the first time since Christmas Day) and had a very good session, partially due to a local band playing songs by The Eagles and Pink Floyd…
The next few weeks are going to be interesting. Until April 10th, my main focus is my project. From April 10th until Easter Sunday (April 16th), I’m taking the week off to sleep, relax, recooperate and escape the country for a short spell. After that, it’s solid study for my final exams.
Job applications for proper jobs have already begun. Some interviews are already scheduled, but it’s still early days yet…
